CITIZEN’S CHARTER

M E S S A G E
        Citizen’s Charter, like this one, is an important document for every agency or office particularly in the ARMM.

        With this Charter, we expect our clients and stakeholders to have easy and speedy access to our technical assistance and related services.

        This Charter symbolizes our genuine commitment and full support on the promotion, development and management of Amateur Sports in the Region.

        Finally, this Charter shall serve as a fundamental guide for the officiating officials, team managers, coaches and players alike during the preparation and actual conduct of sports competitions within and outside the ARMM.

VISION
The transformation of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao into a Center of Excellence in Sports Promotion, Development and Management.




MISSION
To promote the Regional Amateur Sports and develop world-class Athletes, Sports officials and Team managers of associations or clubs.



OBJECTIVES

                The RSCO-ARMM shall pursue the following objectives:

1.   To provide regional leadership and direction on amateur sports promotion and development;
2.   To formulate regional policies and set prioritization of sports by giving emphasis to grassroots participation;
3.   To encourage the active participation of both public and private sectors in amateur sports promotion and development in the area of autonomy;
4.   To popularize and integrate sports medicine into the regular amateur sports program of the region; and
5.   To revive the Filipino Muslims’ indigenous games.


                       STRATEGIES

In pursuit of its mandate, the office shall apply the following strategies:
1.    Strengthen coordination with the ARMM line agencies, sports councils, associations and other stakeholders;
2.    Tap the potential local and international donor agencies in order to raise funds for the construction of sports centers and acquisition of essential sports facilities;
3.    Train adequate number of competent athletes, coaches, team managers and officiating personnel in line with amateur sports promotion and development;
4.    Maximize the use of information, education and communication (IEC) in the promotion and development of amateur sports in the region;
5.    Tap the private sector for donations and other forms of assistance for the aforementioned purposes; and
6.    Undertake necessary preparation and work for the devolution of the office from the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC).

PERFORMANCE PLEDGES

            We, the officials and employees of the Regional Sports Coordinating Office, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, do hereby PLEDGE TO:

          Promote and develop sports, sport medicine, indigenous sports and related activities in the Region;

Promote quality service with utmost integrity, promptness, honesty and sincerity for all the sectors involved in sports;

          Promote transparency and accountability in the performance of our duties;

Observe official working hours to make sure that our clients and sports coordinators are given preferential attention and respect;

Maintain an attitude of hard work, leniency, humbleness and understanding towards all clients and stakeholders in the interest of public service, peace and development.

Commit ourselves to serve this office without reservation, SO HELP US GOD.
